Sandy Ferreri, RN, graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked on medical and surgical units and as a phlebotomy nurse certified in apheresis procedures. Her surgical experience began at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, where she specialized in Plastic, Reconstructive, Microvascular, Oral, and Maxillofacial surgeries and gained experience in Neurology, General, Pediatric, ENT, Vascular, Cysto/Urology, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Ophthalmology, and Gynecologic surgeries. She also served as a Clinical Nurse Educator for the Memorial, Women’s, and Cardiac surgery departments. At Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, she worked in a variety of OR services, once again specializing in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Microvascular surgeries.

Sandy currently serves as the Nurse Manager of Westside Surgery Center. She assisted in the development and accreditation of the Center and maintains the national standards set forth by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF). In addition to overseeing the Center’s daily operation, she also provides hands-on care in the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases of each patient’s surgical experience.
