Melinda Chan, PA-C, is a nationally board certified Physician Assistant specifically trained in aesthetic dermatology. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biopsychology. She then continued her graduate studies at Midwestern University where she earned a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies with a concentration in cosmetic dermatology.

Melinda has experience with many injectables including BOTOX^®, Restylane, JUVEDERM^®, Perlane, Radiesse, and Prevelle Silk. She also has extensive knowledge in laser treatments such as laser hair removal, vein treatments, fractionated non-ablative resurfacing, pigmentation removal, and redness reduction. In addition, she is trained in IPL photofacials, chemical peels, radio frequency-induced skin tightening, acne treatments, and skincare.

Melinda has earned certifications in Cynosure’s Apogee Elite laser system, Affirm Multiplex laser system, and SmartLipo laser system. She has participated in the Preceptorship Training Program for Advanced Techniques for BOTOX^® Cosmetic. Melinda also has certifications in Thermage, Face by Thermage, and Body by Thermage. She keeps up-to-date with the most advanced technologies in lasers and injectables by attending numerous seminars and training programs throughout the year.

Melinda is a member of the California Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
